摘要

Operative treatment of tuberculous spondylodiscitis is still an important part of the treatment for lumbar spine instability.
We report on a patient who suffered an extensive relapse with microbiological confirmation of tuberculous spondylodiscitis following operative spinal treatment for unspecific spondylodiscitis. X-Ray examination showed development of pronounced lumbar instability, which was first treated with the aid of an external fixateur and later by means of a doubled fibular bone graft with a vascularised stem with no dorsal instrumentation, which led to bony consolidation.
