摘要

This paper presents a half-direct coupling wind power system (HDCWPS) for a wind energy system. A double PWM converter is used to implement double direction energy flow and high density power conversion. A control strategy is also presented for the HDCWPS controlling: at wind turbine side a maximum power point capturing (MPPC) control method is used for active power control;and at the grid side a current decoupling control method is proposed to control DC bus voltage and reactive power. Finally, a simulation system is built by employing Matlab/Simulink, and the simulation results demonstrate the correctness of the proposed control strategy.
