With the integration of the world economy promoting the convergence of world culture, Chinese American literature, as an important part of American multiculturalism, plays an important role in its comprehensive cultural development. This paper studies Chinese American literature on the perspective of multiculturalism. Standing on the origin of American culture, it analyzes the cultural development from oneness to diversification so as to explore the essence of multiculturalism, study the actual development of Chinese American literature and comprehensively analyze its connotation on the aspect of Chinese American literature respectively in the context of American literature and Chinese culture, providing reference for the follow-up development of the relevant literature.
