A bcu topological three-dimensional Mn(II)-organic framework [Mn-22(N-3)(8)(L)(12)(H2O)(26)center dot 5H(2)O](infinity) (1) (L = 1,2,3-triazole-4,5-dicarboxylate) based on an unprecedented nanoscale cage has been hydrothermally synthesized.
