摘要

In this paper, a novel planar bandpass filter with wide stopband suppression is proposed based on the combination of coplanar waveguide (CPW) and substrate integrated wave-guide (SIW) technologies. The wide stopband suppression is achieved by eliminating the second harmonic resonance of the CPW cavity with a centrally positioned metallic via, which plays a key role in the novel design. The proposed filter could obtain good out-of-band rejection (<-20 dB) from 18 GHz (1.5 f0, f0)is the center operating frequency of the filter) to 43 GHz (3.6/o). A demonstration filter is optimized, fabricated and measured, and the measured results agree well with the simulated ones, which validate the proposed method.
