摘要

The mechanical-thermal-electric coupling of ferroelectric phase transitions was studied as an extension of the thermal-electric coupling of them. In addition to the inner electric field, we introduced the nominal volume force and stress to characterize the actions of mechanical-thermal-electric coupling. The local entropy production was derivedfor a ferroelectric phase transition system. Based on the principle of minimum entropy production and the Onsager relations, the local properties of first-order ferroelectric phase transitions were described well. The relation between latent heat and spontaneous polarization was given. After all, compared with the classical theory, the thermal hysteresis was explainedfrom a completely-different point of view.
