A Note on the Mean Curvature Flow Coupled to the Ricci Flow

In this short note we derive evolution equations under the mean curvature flow when the ambient manifold evolves along the Ricci flow. In particular, by direct and elementary calculations we give detailed expositions of some formulas in Lott (Commun. Math. Phys. 313, 517-533, > 2012).
