摘要

The aim of the present study is to compare the effects of two different applications of physics laboratories which were designed according to science process skills and deductive approaches on student physics achievement, as well as the acquisition of science process skills and student attitudes towards physics. "Science Process Skills Test", "Physics Achievement Test" and. "Attitude Scale for Physics Laboratory" were used as the data collection tools in the present study. These three different tests were administered to 40 students of a randomly selected high school in Zonguldak. The tests were administered two times as pre-test and post-test. The analysis of the data which were acquired in the study concluded that laboratory, which was designed according to "Science Process Skills", is more effective on student physics achievement, the acquisition of science process skills and attitudes towards physics laboratory, than the laboratory which was designed according to the "deductive" approach.
