The development of the construction industry has resulted in the increased amounts of abandoned concrete. Recycled aggregate concrete made by recycling of waste concrete has great environmental and economic benefits. Therefore, the application of recycled aggregate concrete has become a controversial research topic at home and abroad. The study discusses the application of recycled aggregate concrete of precast concrete. Based on the introduction of the factors affecting the quality of concrete prefabricated components and basic properties of recycled aggregate concrete, the preparation process of recycled aggregate was studied. Recycled aggregate concrete was used in the preparation of prefabricated concrete component, and its performance and engineering tests were carried out. The test results showed that performance indexes, such as strength and drying shrinkage rate of precast concrete components prepared with recycled aggregate concrete, have little difference with ordinary precast concrete, and fully meet quality requirements of precast concrete. Hence, recycled aggregate concrete has a larger role in reducing the production cost of concrete prefabricated components.
