An unusual chain constructed from heteropolyanions and isopolyanions: [{Cu(2,2 '-bipy)}(6)(Mo6O22)][SiMo12O40]

摘要

A new compound based on transition metal complexes modified heteropolyanions and isopolyanions: [{Cu(2,2'-bipy)}(6)(Mo6O22)][SiMo12O40] (1) (2,2'-bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine), has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TG and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In compound 1, each of the [Mo6O22](8-) clusters is surrounded by six {Cu(2,2'-bipy)}(2+) fragments forming [{Cu(2,2'-bipy)}(6)(Mo6O22)](4+) cations which further alternately link the [SiMo12O40](4) anions to result in an unusual 1D chain.
