摘要

Aiming to solve the difficulties in calculating the stable roll load of temper-mill which is especially used to dryly temper thin-gauge strip with the small reduction, an improved roll model and torque model were proposed on the basis of hypothesis of flat plate compression. The roll model includes two experiential sub-models: equivalent deformation length and deformation assistance and the torque model is linearly corrected especially considering the tension effects. The comparison between the actual and calculated results shows that the models possess high precision and the hypothesis is reasonable. Finally, the key parameters relative to the roll load of a new establishing double stands temper mill were checked via the new developed models, which displays the models have the value of applications in real projects.
