摘要

In this letter, we study the nonorthogonal approximate joint diagonalization (AJD) of a set of target matrices. By adding an extra term into the common least-squares criterion for AJD, the proposed criterion can exclude the degenerate solution and is also fit to a non-square diagonalizer. Simulation experiments demonstrate its validity. Its application in blind source separation (BSS) is also confirmed by experiments, which show our method can obtain better separation performance.
