A ultra-wideband system in underground mine for real time communication

摘要

Current communication in underground mine gives priority to wired mode which has some disadvantages. Some scholars have proposed a few wireless schemes for this application field, but the communicating rate of these schemes is often lower and cannot fit some situations with wideband demand for real time. Employing noise as carrier, a novel wireless differential shift keying ultra-wideband system is proposed in this paper. It has simple frame, high communication rate and low power consumption, which can adapt to real time communication of much data capacity in underground mine. As it can be set flexibly in many working frequency bands, based on cognitive radio technology the system in which monitoring nodes can cooperate in net form can select better channel for work. Because of the differential frame, the system is robust to multipath channel. The bit error rate expression of this system is obtained in theory and the parameter influence on system is discussed. Simulation results show that the system can work safely even in bad dense multipath environment in underground mine.
