摘要

A supramolecular copper(II) polymer {[Cu-2(dipyridylamine)(2)(mu-F)(2)(mu(4)-SiF6)] - (CH3OH)(2)}(n), has been synthesised using thermal conditions in a sealed pressure tube. X-ray structural determination shows that the title compound exhibits an unprecedented architecture stabilised by non-covalent bonds. It appears that in this compound, for the first time, CuF2Cu units are held together by mu(4)-SiF6 bridges, leading to interdigitated chains. The temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility of the material was analysed on the basis of a Bleaney-Bowers expression for dinuclear Cu(II) compounds, showing dominant strong antiferromagnetic interactions between the copper centres in a CuF2Cu unit (J = -74 cm(-1)).
