摘要
An all-solid-state, tunable Yb:YAG laser pumped by two laser diodes was realized. A CW output of 66 mW at 1049.5 nm was obtained with an absorbed pump power of 900 mW. The slope efficiency was 12.7% with output coupling of 1 %, and the threshold was 410 mW. The tunability of the laser was studied in detail, and a tuning range form 1030.5 nm to 1055.5 nm was achieved. Self-Q switched pulse train was observed.
