摘要

In geotechnical engineering, the rock mass deformation test and bearing capacity test can be taken as rock mass deformation test of different sizes. In order to explore the size effects on deformation modulus of rock, in-situ deformation tests and bearing capacity tests for the same specimens are carried out. The results show that deformation modulus of rock are mainly affected by joints in rock mass. When rock masses are of good quality, the deformation modulus can be measured from bearing capacity test, so the experiments are multifunctional.
