摘要

This paper is concerned with a system of first order hyperbolic partial-differential equations in the domain of a finite one-dimensional network. The system models the blood flow in human circulatory systems. The differential equations are non-homogeneous with frictional damping terms and are coupled at the internal junctions. We prove global existence of the smooth solution under certain assumptions on the initial and boundary conditions.
