摘要
The dihedral angle between the indole and benzene ring systems in the title compound, C17H11N3O2, is 4.37 (7)degrees. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked by N-H center dot center dot center dot N and C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, resulting in the formation of layers. These layers are further interconnected through weak offset pi-pi stacking between the nitrophenyl and indole ring systems, with a centroid-to-centroid distance of 3.766 (2) angstrom and an interplanar distance of 3.524 angstrom.
