摘要

For solving the bottleneck problem of low surface quality in existing direct rapid metal prototyping technologies at home and abroad, a direct rapid metal prototyping method by hybrid additive plasma deposition shaping and removable surface milling finish technologies was developed in this paper. By researching the effects of hybrid fabrication processing parameters on deposition formability, shaping features, thermal dry milling tools and the process, suitable processing parameters are found out and metal parts are then trial-manufactured, thereby an effective approach is provided to improve the inside and outside qualities of rapid metal prototype.
