摘要

An improved three-dimensional digital image correlation (3 D-DIC ) system is used to study the mechanical properties of civil structures conveniently. The corresponding experiments in-clude the fiber reinforced polymer (FRP ) wrapped concrete columns compression test, the FRP sheets-concrete bond-slip test, the steel plate tension and compression fatigue test, the prestressed concrete seismic test, the steel truss structure continuous collapse dynamic test. The whole surface of the cylindrical specimen is measured simultaneously, and the 360°full field strain data are obtained. When the mean strain is up to 2 ×10 -2,the relative error of the strain obtained by the 3D-DIC meth-od and that by the electrical measuring method is less than 3%,exhibiting the high precision of the strain and displacement of the 3 D-DIC method. Then,a method for eliminating rigid displacement based on edge points is proposed, and the corresponding bond-slip displacement is obtained.High frame rate cameras are utilized to capture images continuously and the dynamic test is carried out. Therefore, the availability of the improved 3 D-DIC system in experimental studies on the mechanical properties of civil structures is proved.
