摘要

In this paper, we propose a new, intelligent methodology to predict the future location of users for service selection in a timely and accurate manner. Also, we present an intelligent service selection policy that uses case-based reasoning. In this methodology, we consider a user's moving velocity, change of speed, point of service, number of services to be provided, and quality of service selection. This study shows that a context prediction algorithm based on case-based reasoning is superior in comparison to traditional location based services for nomadic users. Also, through a simulation-based experiment, we conclude that our policy mix method is superior to any competing service selection method in terms of accuracy and timeliness. Finally, we can conclude that this method is competitive for realizing sustainable location-based services, with the perspective of setup cost, operating cost and energy consumption.
