Blasting design in coal mine tunnel is a complex problem of theory and technology, which is concerned with engineering geology, stability classification of surrounding rocks, sectional shape, gas preservation, mining conditions and rock mechanics. Be aimed at these difficulties above, combining the latest developed computer artificial intelligence with results of theoretical studies and practical experience of coal mine tunnel blasting field, the expert system of blasting designing was studied. Established abundance knowledge base including typical case of blasting, blasting theory, expert experience, industry standards, based on rules and typical case of analogical reasoning, applied production rules and the matching of the reasoning strategies, the expert system optimize coal mining blasting parameters the design. Based on secondary development of CAD, graphics subsystem achieves blasting charts drawn automatically. Application of this system on simulation and optimization designing of actual mining tunnel blasting case illustrated designing result actual situation are beidentical.
