摘要

Specimens collected by Vassilyuk from the lower part of the Tournaisian strata of the southern Donets Basin and described as Campophyllum caninoides Sibly are re-examined. These specimens re-attributed to the Conilophyllum priscum (Munster, 1840), which is a well-known species in the lower part of the Lower Tournaisian of Western and Eastern Europe, Kazakhstan, North America and China (Junggar). Corphalia simplex (Perna, 1923) is for the first time identified at the top of Tournaisian in the Donets Basin. This species was described at similar stratigraphic levels on the eastern slope of the Southern Urals and in Belgium. The application of described species for interregional correlation of the Tournaisian subdivisions is discussed herein. Evolutionary relations between Corphalia and Dorlodotia near the Tournasian-Visean boundary have been confirmed indirectly.
