摘要

We present the measurements of the in-plane thermal conductivity kappa(ab) of single crystals La2CuO4 (LCO) and lightly doped La1.98Y0.02CuO4 and La1.98Eu0.02CuO4. It is found that such slight doping strongly suppresses the phonon peak (at similar to25 K) in kappa(ab)(T) of LCO and this suppression is much stronger than that observed in La1.98Sr0.02CuO4. This anomalously strong suppression of phonon transport is attributed to the structural distortion induced by Y- or Eu-doping, which also brings on some changes in the magnetic properties.
