摘要

The pattern synthesis technique of adaptive arrays is one of the key technologies in smart antenna systems so that an efficient optimized algorithm is indispensable due to the complexity of the system. A hybrid optimized algorithm is proposed, which is based principally on the combination of the differential evolution theory and the genetic algorithm. In this algorithm the differential evolution operator is adopted as the main optimizing scheme while such techniques of the genetic algorithm, as crossover, mutation, etc, are employed. Therefore it is expected that advantages of both the differential evolution and the genetic algorithm are kept so that the hybrid model can optimize large scale, highly nonlinear problems well and improve the efficiency of the optimization process. Computer simulations show that the pattern synthesis of antenna arrays can be carried out with fast convergence and excellent stability by the model, even for complex cases.
