摘要
A number of factors may help to understand why language learners seem to have varying degrees of success at different age levels. This paper mainly focuses on the age-related factors accounting for differences in Second Language Acquisition from five aspects: Cognitive development, affective factors, social-psychological factors, biological or neurological factors, language input. At the same time, we should be cautious about generalizations of the relationship between age and language acquisition.
