In order to solve the engineering problems of difficult supporting and large deformations in broken coal roadway in the fault zone of 17426 working face of Zhangji coal mine. The roadway within the fault zone is considered as a weak structure rock. Numerical simulations and field experiments are undertaken to simulate the diffusion law of slurry in weak structures for determining reasonable grouting and drilling parameters and supporting parameters of bolt. The experiment of safety controlling engineering on grouting-bolting in local weak structure rock of gate road is conducted and pre-strengthen- ing engineering controlling technology of the fundamental supporting of bolt and reinforcement of grouting in weak structure of testing coal roadway is proposed. The results show that: 1) Grouting and bolt supporting can reinforce the strength and confining pressure of surrounding rock. Grouting parameters were determined as: grouting pressure of 4.0 MPa, grouting time of >600 s, viscosity coefficient of 0.14 Pa•s, grouting hole spacing of 1.8 m×2 m, hole depth of 2.5 m, pore size of 56 mm;2) Based on monitoring data before and after deformation of roadway, grouting and increasing pressure of surround- ing rock can significantly improve the bearing capacity of weak structure and the non-deformability and further to ensure the stability of roadway surrounding rock.
