摘要
A new fluorescent sensor, N'-[(2-hydroxyphenyl)methylidene]imidazo[1,2-alpyridine-2-carbohydrazide (S), has been synthesized via Schiff-base condensation between imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-2-carbohydrazide and salicylaldehyde. It exhibited high sensitivity and selectivity towards Al3+ through a significant "turn-on" fluorescence response at 446 nm in DMSO-H2O (9:1,v:v) 10 mM of HEPES buffer solution at pH 7.4 with a detection limit down to 4.55 x 10(-11) M. Intriguingly, sensor S could also act as a pH sensor to detect the pH values of alkali environment by inhibiting the PET process. The optimized structure of S and its sensing mechanism for Al3+ has been confirmed by density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) calculations with 6-31G(d) basis sets using a suite of Gaussian 09 programs.
