摘要

In this paper, we study the qualitative properties of the mass rate equation for black holes introduced by Bean and Magueijo. These authors claimed that this equation does not admit solutions which can be expressed in terms of elementary functions (or quadratures of elementary functions). We provide a proof of this claim by showing that an associated planar polynomial system is not Liouville integrable and has no (nontrivial) invariant algebraic curves. We also describe the qualitative phase portrait of this system showing that the black holes evaporate in finite time or they grow indefinitely, depending on the initial mass.
