摘要

The possibility of interaction between PEGBE 206 + 1-Butanol and PEGBE 206 + MAE binary mixtures has been investigated by thermodynamics and H-1 NMR spectroscopic technique. Densities and viscosities of binary liquid mixtures of poly(ethylene glycol) butyl ether (PEGBE) 206 with 1-Butanol and 2-(Methylamino) ethanol (MAE) have been measured at temperature T = 293.15 K, 303.15 K and 313.15 K. From the"density and viscosity data, deviation in viscosity (Delta eta) and excess Gibb's free energy of activation of viscous flow (Delta G*(E)) have been evaluated. These data have been fitted to the Redlich-Kister equation, to obtain the binary coefficients and standard deviations. The molecular scale interactions have been investigated through H-1 NMR spectroscopy. The NMR chemical shifts for various protons of PEGBE 206, 1-Butanol and MAE Molecules and their deviations show multiple hydrogen bonding interactions of varying strengths between these binary systems.
