摘要

Surface morphology has great influence on the joint shear strength;it can be divided into two components, which are waviness of low frequency and roughness of high frequency. The surface morphology of a split joint has been measured and divided into the high-frequency and low-frequency components using Fourier transform filter. PFC3D code has been used to simulate the surface morphology, then conduct the shear test of the joint on different normal stresses, obtain the shear stress, shear displacement, normal displacement and micro-cracks in the shear process. The results show that the high frequency component influences the basic friction angle mostly and the low frequency influences the peak dilatancy angle mostly, a method of finding the critical frequency to divide the surface morphology has been proposed.
