Stenosing cancer of the ascending colon as late onset metastasis of a stage 1b gallbladder carcinoma

Acute clinical presentation of distant metastasis from gallbladder carcinoma (GC) is rare. An English language Medline search produced no reported cases of metastasis of GC to the colon. We report a case of a 68-year-old man who developed colon metastasis 2 years after incidentally diagnosed stage 1b GC.
