摘要

The calculation of simulation in transient stability analysis for large scale power grid is very time-consuming. The use of dynamic equivalents for particular parts of these systems becomes indispensable in electromagnetic transient simulation of the power system to meet the need of electromagnetic transient simulation and the real-time simulation especially. This paper describes an improved method for parameter aggregation of detailed model of coherent unit groups, which are identified on an improved ant colony algorithm for solving continuous space optimization problems. It can obtain the detailed model parameters of equivalent generating. The proposed method is applied to the well-known New England Test System (10-machine, 39-bus) and results of validation test show that compared with frequency domain fitting the proposed method can ensure the swing curve is consistent with that before using the dynamic equivalents, and the reduced equivalent system retains the dynamic performance of the original system with good accuracy.
