A novel knowledge discovery approach based on rough sets pair analysis

In an ordered decision information system, dominance-based rough set approach (DRSA) were used to compute reducts of the system which preserve the lower and upper approximations of upward union and downward union of decision classes. This paper studies the application of connection degree in sets pair analysis to Rough Sets Theory. To combine Fuzzy Sets with Rough Sets pair analysis, a novel knowledge acquisition approach is proposed, and it proves to be quite valuable in knowledge discovery for large-scale and complex information systems.
