26RFa is a novel neuropeptide identified as the endogenous ligand of the human orphan receptor GPR103. %26lt;br%26gt;26RFa and GPR103 are localized in hypothalamic nuclei regulating feeding behaviour. %26lt;br%26gt;26RFa stimulates appetite. %26lt;br%26gt;The 26RFa system is up-regulated in obese patients and adolescents suffering of anorexia nervosa.
