摘要

Development of a three dimensional numerical model which considers the effects of the uniform magnetic field on the phospholipids and transmembrane proteins of the red blood cell (RBC) suspended in fluid is described in this study. Visualisation measurement of the RBC motion characterised by the inclination angle of the RBC is also carried out by using the microchannel and high-speed camera to validate the numerical results. Further, the distribution of the magnetic forces on the membrane in relation to the RBC motion, and the evaluation of the overall anisotropic diamagnetic susceptibility of the RBC using the numerical results are discussed.
