Morphotaxonomy of eight species of genus Lyclene Moore (Lepidoptera: Arctiidae: Lithosiinae) from India

Taxonomic studies have been conducted on eight species viz., Lyclene cuneonotata (Walker). L. congerens (Felder), L. conjunctana (Walker). L. semifascia (Walker), L. metamelas (Hampson). L. dasara (Moore), L. rosalia (Hampson) and L. rubricosa (Moore). External male and female genitalic structures of these species are studied and illustrated for the first time. Four new combinations are suggested whereas, four old combinations are resurrected in this communication.
