摘要

The optical communications is expanding and opening new frontiers so this development, we develop and study experimental techniques for creating optical fibers inserted chemicals according the interaction between a beam of resonant light and an atomic vapor results in the process known by stimulated emission. About the process, we can link the atomic physics to optical communications, but in the sensing area of high precision because this interaction changes the modal behavior of the waveguide. This paper discusses some of the techniques developed for the creation of these optical fibers as well as the development and performed experimental tests with the possible applications of these techniques, in telecommunications in the sensing area.
