摘要

Nanosized MgO powders were prepared by homogeneous precipitation method using Mg(NO3)(2)center dot 6H(2)O and CO(NH2)(2) as raw materials. The influences of raw materials ratio, reaction temperature, calcination temperature and other factors on product yield as well as particle properties, were investigated. TG-DTA, XRD and TEM were used to characterize the thermal stability, crystal structure as well as the morphology of the obtained MgO powder. Results show that the obtained powders have quite well morphology and good dispersion, and the average grain size is about 10 nm. Favorable preparation conditions for nanosized MgO powder at normal pressures are obtained in present study.
