Applicability of numerical methods for predicting and reducing the emission of pollutants from combustion plants used in chemical and refinery industries

Combustion of natural gas in air in a model chamber and in an industrial furnace (metallurgy) was modeled to predict the compn. of flue gases under varying combustion conditions. The results (esp. concn. of NOx) confirmed applicability of the computer program used for numerical simulations.
