摘要

This paper presented a comparison of the designing and power loss for electric vehicle motors using various high-efficiency silicon steel sheets.Two types of cost-effective permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSMs) using neodymium iron boron and new thin-gauge silicon steel sheets were developed.The frequency is a crucial factor impacting the characteristics of silicon steel sheets.The efficiency,torque-speed curve and other experimental results of PMSM motors were described and analyzed.
