摘要

The reaction of 2-[butyl(nitro)amino]ethyl nitrate (BuNENA) with sodium azide is a classical method for synthesis of butyl(2-azidoethyl)nitramine (BuAENA). The kinetics of this reaction was investigated at 62, 70 and 80 degrees C. The concentration of BuNENA in reaction process were determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and the reaction rate constants were obtained by fitting the experimental data. The results showed that the overall reaction was of the second-order and the order of reaction for 2-[butyl(nitro)amino]ethyl nitrate and sodium azide was first-order for each, the apparent activation energy was 85.06 kJ.mol(-1). It was demonstrated that the velocity of the reaction was greatly influenced by concentration of reactants and reaction temperature.
