摘要
The effect of the content of the main alloying elements on the structure of alloy ML10 is considered. The possible phase transformations are analyzed with the help of fragments of the Mg - Nd - Zr - Zn equilibrium phase diagram plotted with the use of the Thermo-Calc software. Approximate contents of Nd, Zr and Zn are determined for obtaining a cast structure least damaged with microscopic shrinkage porosity due to solidification of the alloy in a metallic or sand mold.
