摘要
A carbon dioxide gas sensor based on wet-chemically synthesized beta-Bi2O3 nanoplates (width similar to 100-400 nm; length similar to 4-6 mu m) was investigated using repeatability and reproducibility tests. The saturation region for different gas concentrations, and the response and recovery times were also recorded. The beta-Bi2O3 nanoplate-based sensor has demonstrated lower operating temperature with a high gas response of 100%, which remained unchanged even up to 11,000 ppm CO2. The fast response and recovery times suggests these nanoplates can serve as excellent gas-sensing nanomaterial.
