The title compound, [Cu-2(C10H7Br2NO4)(2)(C10H8N2)]center dot H2O, is a binuclear copper(II) complex. Both Cu atoms are four-coordinate in a square-planar geometry. In addition, there is one water molecule in the asymmetric unit. The crystal structure is stabilized by O-H center dot center dot center dot O and O-H center dot center dot center dot Br hydrogen bonds.
