摘要

Two kinds of women's volleyball uniforms are researched on in this article. The styles, colors, patterns, textiles, accessories, garments' functional requirements and visual effects, bareness of the body, wearing rules of women's indoor and beach volleyball uniforms, as well as the social and commercial backgrounds of the two uniforms' rising and populating are mainly compared. A conclusion has been reached through the analysis and comparison on the pictorial and documental references: the style and design differences of the two uniforms are significantly influenced by the athletic specialties of the sports and the progresses of sports commercialization. The point that the progress of commercialization promotes and affects predominantly on women's beach volleyball uniform is concluded through the comparison of men's and women's beach volleyball uniforms. At last, a discussion on the relationships between the athletic sportswear's visual beauty, the competitions' esthetics and the flourishing developments of athletic projects is developed, taking women's beach volleyball uniform as an example.
