摘要

We propose a numerical method for solving the full Navier-Stokes-Fourier system describing the evolution of a compressible, viscous and heat conducting fluid. We use the finite volume method for approximating the convective terms, while the finite element method based on the Crouzeix-Raviart finite elements is used to approximate the viscous stress. The numerical solutions are shown to converge, up to a subsequence, to a suitable weak solution of the problem.
