Technological advances, exploding amounts of information, and user receptiveness are fueling augmented reality%26apos;s (AR) rapid expansion from a novelty concept to potentially the default interface paradigm in coming years. This article briefly describes AR in terms of its application in natural Web interfaces. The authors discuss key concepts involved in AR, and the technical and social - challenges that remain.
