摘要
The title complex, [Co(C4H5O6)(2)(H2O)2]center dot 2H(2)O, contains a Co-II ion, two single deprotonated tartrate anions, two coordinated water molecules and two lattice water molecules. The coordination geometry of the Co-II ion is a distorted octahedron with two O atoms from two coordinated water molecules occupying cis positions in the equatorial plane and four O atoms from two hydrogen tartrate ions occupying the remaining positions. In the crystal, intermolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a three-dimensional network.
