摘要

In the present study, the genetic relationships between characteristics of the self-performance test (ELP) of young bulls of the German Holstein breed and the performance traits of their daughters in progeny testing were analyzed. The main aim of this study was to measure the impact of foot, leg and health traits on offspring in progeny testing. Test results were compared to parameters of foot and leg traits of 1,039 young bulls from the former central sire station Meissen-Korbitz (MASTERRIND GmbH). The heritability of the observed characteristics of young bulls was moderate: DWL length of the dorsal wall (h(2) = 0.25), DIAG length of the diagonal (h(2) = 0.31), TRH heel depth (h(2) = 0.29), KLSC balance claw (h(2) = 0.27), HBWI rear legs, side view (h(2) = 0.19), HBST rear legs, rear view (h(2) = 0.20), FESS angle of pastern (h(2) = 0.24) and FUND feet and legs (h(2) = 0.34). The genetic relationships of identical performance parameters between young bulls and their daughters in the traits rear legs, side view (r(g) = 0.38), rear legs, rear view (r(g) = 0.62) and balance claw (r(g) = 0.64) correlate positively. Useful correlations for breeding were found between DIAG-rear legs, rear view (r(g) = -0.55), HBST-hock quality (r(g) = 0.48), FESS-hock quality (r(g) = -0.65), HBWI-quality of pastern (r(g) = -0.83), HBWI-balance claw (r(g) = 0.82), HBVVI-locomotion (r(g) = -0.56) and HBWI feet and legs (r(g) = -0.54). The possible influence of breeding on the animal health of daughters can be stated as follows: Sire traits DWL (r(g) = 0.36) and HBST (-0.71) on Mastitis, HBST (-0.61) and FESS (0.38) on Mortellaro, KLSC (0.43) on Panaritium and DIAG (r(g) = 0.35) and HBST (r(g) = -0.63) on Laminitis. The genetic relationships of performance parameters between fathers and their daughters show that through the young bulls' feet and legs the functional traits in feet and legs as well as animal health of the offspring may be affected.
